• VILLARREAL IS SUCH A PLEASANT PLACE TO VISIT.

            The town was founded in 1274 by King Jaume 1 of Aragon and has experienced continous growth since those early days. The name Vila-real means "Royal-Town" and has the right to use the Royal Arms as an emblem: red stripes on a golden background. This symbol is still seen on the shield and flag of the town.

        BURRIANA is close to Villarreal and has a beach.

You may want to see CASTELLON which is about 7 km from VILLARREAL

 and is accessible by train,bus and taxi.

A visit to VALENCIA is also a must do.

BENICASSIM is not far from Villarreal and has a great beach.

PENISCOLA is another great place to stay and a super beach.
